Located in the south-east of Taiwan, Green Island is a small volcanic island sized around 16 km2 in Pacific Ocean. Green Island is 33 km away (one-hour by boat)from Taiwan Main Island.
Thanks to the “Black Current” coming from equator, the lowest water temperature in winter is still 23°C. Black Current also brings nutrition, high visibility and biodiversity (there are some Green-Island-only species) for Green Island. In addition, the artificial reefs also create home for fishes and provide places for the coral to attach.
With its superb visibility, excellent micro life, extremely high coral coverage and featured landscape structure, Green Island, Taiwan is known as one of the best dive spot in the world.
